Our client is a regional housing association who is recruiting for a Contract Business Manager to hold responsibility for managing the operational delivery and performance of contractors within mostly the property services team but also the wider business.

This is an exciting new role within the company and will have the support of a full contract administration team.

Day to day duties

Actively manage contractors to ensure excellent performance levels and value for money are achieved
Monitor contract delivery, performance and cost
Ensure business operations comply with all legal and inspection frameworks and legislations
Produce management information in relation to performance of key suppliers across the group
Keep up to date with both the regulatory environment and supplier marketplace to identify opportunities for contractors to add value
Manage and resolve difficult relationships between client and contractor
Develop procurement and category strategies
Lead and develop a team of contract Administrators
Attend contract meetings for projects

Essential Skills:

Experience in delivering excellent operational results through contract management
Relationship management skills
High level of commercial acumen with a good understanding of contract obligations and SLAs
Budget management
Experience within a construction/property services/social housing environment
