Description
We currently have permanent vacancies for multiple experienced bench hand joiners in our workshop.

We work in all sectors including airports, train stations, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality and office fitouts.

Applicants should be experienced in constructing bars, counters, base units and other bespoke joinery items. Applicants must also have the necessary hand tools to carry out these duties.


Duties:


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to specifications
  • Install wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
  • Repair or replace damaged wooden structures
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and woodworking principles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labour
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, roofing, or painting is a plus
