Business Continuity and Finance Resilience Specialist

As a Business Continuity and Finance Resilience Specialist, you'll work to develop relationships and processes across the Global System with our bottlers and functions to protect those brands all over the world.

What You'll Do for Us


Be responsible for developing and rolling out the Financial Resilience methodology in terms of evaluating financial impact of a business interruption for both Incident Management and Crisis Resolution (IMCR) and Business Continuity.

You will also support the development of Business Continuity and Resilience (BCR) and implementation of the resilience strategy across the Coca-Cola System at a Strategic and Operational level as well as supporting the Global Security and Asset Protection (GSAP) organization with projects and events.


  • Develop a Business Resilience Financial impact model to assess the financial impact to the business in the event of an incident. This should be in collaboration with key parts of the Organization such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Insurance and Finance functions.
  • Embed and drive the development of Financial Resilience inline with our BCR program.
  • Work with the business to understand the cost/benefit of recovery strategies/alternative business continuity solutions.
  • Develop an aligned approach for capturing financial exposures for business continuity risks as part of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process.
  • Seek out viable opportunities for implementing Business Continuity Plans where there are associated costs of loss.
  • Support Operating Units, Core Functions, Global Ventures and Bottling Partners with risk treatment advice and guidance.
  • Support the facilitation of the completion of key activities with Business Continuity such as BIAs, risk assessments and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
  • Provide training and support on BCR (BC and IMCR) tooling to stakeholders.
  • Support the development localized Business Continuity and IMCR testing and exercising scenarios.
  • Facilitate live and tabletop exercises to test BC & IMCR effectiveness and team capabilities.
  • Be an SME and partner to the business and expand and embed the global BCR programme.
  • Maintain and report on key performance metrics for BCR
  • Support the overall efforts to build resilience within the company.
  • Review external business continuity risks to assess the potential impact to the Coca-Cola System.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to support the wider GSAP)Team and the Chief Security Office.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
  • Finalist/Chartered Accountant.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Incident Management and Business Continuity.
  • Proven ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate and execute complex projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 2230
  • Proven ability in relationship management across diverse and complex work environments
  • Must possess the ability to seek alternatives and recommend best solutions that gain all parties support and lead to winwin results.
  • Experience in FMCG environment preferred.
  • Understanding of risk management, audit and compliance.
  • Experience in Cyber Security a bonus but not essential.
Travel requirements: 30%
