Backend Software Engineer / Developer (Python SQL Data) London / WFH to £75k

Do you have Python coding skills and an interest in Data / Machine Learning? You could be progressing your career at a tech driven communications software house in an open, collaborative environment where learning and personal development are key and there'sa strong pipeline of Greenfield projects as well as flexible working.

Your role:

As a Backend Software Engineer you will work closely with Machine Learning Engineers to build cutting edge cloud based fraud prevention models, continually iterating and improving the products' performance.

You'll contribute to product design and implementationof production grade models and associated data pipelines and pro-actively explore and visualise data to discover innovative features and research new potential data sources.

You can work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the London once a week; when you are in the office you can enjoy a friendly team environment that encourages knowledge sharing, close collaboration and regular company wide hack-a-thons; you'llhave time dedicated every Friday afternoon to exploring your own technology interests.

Requirements:

You have strong Python coding skills
You have an interest in data and experience with SQL and Python data libraries (e.g. SciKit, PyTorch)
You have a good knowledge of various algorithms and understand their strengths and weaknesses
You have a good knowledge of AWS and ideally SageMaker, although you can pick this up on the job
You have a good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals
You're collaborative and enthusiastic with great communication skills
