Job Title:
Small Works Supervisor
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are looking to expand the team in Birmingham by hiring a Small Works Supervisor.


Role Summary:


  • Respond to reactive works within the team
  • Cost up small works and projects
  • Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner
  • Chasing old jobs
  • Liaise with the working supervisor to plan projects and small works jobs
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Liaising with NEC events team
  • Attending operations meetings
  • Support in contract meetings
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales
  • Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks
  • Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works
  • Responsible for other building and installation works as required
  • Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHU's / FCU's and Basic Plumbing requirements
  • Utilise PDA to complete works, key communications & updates
  • Undertake minor projects works
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations
  • In addition to the above duties, you will be expected to undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager

  • Time served as a Carpenter or other building trades
  • IT/Excel Word
  • CAFM Systems
  • Quoting Works
  • PPM Management
  • Fire Risk Assessment
  • Civil Engineering
Desired Courses

  • SMTS
  • Excel
  • IOSH
  • NIBOS
  • Health and Safety Awareness

Salary:
Up to £40,000.00 per year

  • Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:
