Are you looking to get into teaching? Do you want to get experience of working with students but are unsure where to start?_


Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work on a daily basis for both short and long term.

This can provide flexibility to your new Cover Supervisor role as several partnered secondary schools in the
Garston area. The schools are currently recruiting on a part-time/full-time basis. As a cover supervisor you will be required to ensure that the students are getting on with their work as you cover the absence of the secondary school's staffmember, in some cases you may have to deal with challenging behaviour and implement the schools behaviour policy


As you will be occupied with several schools across the Liverpool area, you will be working on an ad-hoc basis where we will contact you prior to your appointment of the potential school.

This can allow you to choose when and where to work, enabling youfull flexibility of the full-time/ part-time cover supervisor role.

As a cover supervisor this could support your future decision to move into teaching as it can be a platform to enhance your teaching skills and secondary education knowledge.

Schools are increasingly relying on more Cover Supervisors as a way to cover the teacher's absence.

The role of a cover supervisor is to supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of a class teacher.

As a Cover Supervisor you will ensure pre-preparedclass work is complete and to manage students behaviour in accordance with school guidelines.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
