I am working with one of the leading Haulage companies who specialise in the transportation of goods within the UK.


With an annual turnover of over 26 million last year my client is growing every year and has future plans for growth in the coming years.


They are looking for an experienced Sales Manager who will lead the UK Sales team and be able to streamline business using their industry knowledge and their built-up contacts.


Job description for Sales Manager

  • High focus on bringing on new business by making initial contact before liaising with the tendor team to present proposals
  • Account Manage both existing and new clients
  • Stay up to date within the market in order to gain insight on competitors and customer preferences
  • Negotiate prices with customers in order to close business

Job skills required for Sales Manager

  • Ability to source and bring on new business
  • Strong customer service skills
  • 5 years Sales experience to a high level
  • Strong Logistics and Transport connections
  • Self-Motivated and hard working
