This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development & Marketing Manager to join an independent law firm on a ten to twelve month fixed term contract basis, in order to provide support for one of the firm's core client and sector groups, FinancialServices, and support to the Property Investors and Developers sector.

The marketing team is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's marketing strategy, including profile and reputation and marketing communications, and also business development.

This extends to all aspects of marketing planning, brandmanagement, communications, events, CRM, business and market analysis and pitches and tenders.

The successful applicant will enjoy a broad and challenging role, requiring a strong collegiate approach and a genuine enthusiasm and understanding for the fullBD and marketing mix to deliver the firm's strategy for growth.

You will work with Partners and Sector Heads, to design and deliver a business development and marketing plan, including the identification of best opportunities and maximising the use of thesector teams BD time and resources to win the most profitable work.

This will be a hands-on role providing support to the firm's practice groups, working across the full marketing and business development mix of initiatives including identifying potentialtargets, undertaking in-depth research and competitor analysis, driving cross-selling initiatives and contributing to the pitch process.

On the marketing side, the role holder will be responsible for identifying and developing campaigns and thought leadershipprojects to support profile raising efforts aligned to the Financial Services strategy, oversee an in-house events programme and organise and evaluate strategic sponsorships, key memberships and speaking opportunities at external conferences and seminars.
