The successful postholder will be an experienced Health & Safety Professional with previous experience working in UK Schools.This is a busy and varied role that involves much travel around (mainly) the County of Somerset with some cross border school work.
The postholder must be able to produce timely and professional reports and articulate in a way that promotes and encourages a safe health and safety culture.
Essential Skills and Education...
- NEBOSH Diploma or minimum level 6 equivalent (or working towards)
- Clean driving license and access to reliable vehicle
- Adult Education Qualification, or extensive training delivery experience
- Pragmatic with a genuine desire to improve safety cultures
- Experience of risk management, site inspections and auditing
- Ability to compile detailed statistics
- Desire to improve own knowledge and undertake CPD
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of H&S legislation including school specific legislation

Salary:
£26,485.39-£41,115.64 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- UK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Bridgwater, TA6 3AS
