Job Purpose:


To ensure data flow and accurate record keeping for imports and exports for MacDermid Performance Solutions UK ltd into and out of the UK.

To review and maintain commodity codes in ERP systems. To review and maintain import and export controls, and ensure supplemental units are applied.


Job responsibilities:


  • Review and maintain supplemental units and import/export controls.
  • Coordinate import data from suppliers / intercompany shipments.
  • Coordinate export data to 3rd party and intercompany customers.
  • Ensure static data in the ERP's are maintained and are accurate
  • Validation of supplier invoices.
  • Ensure all documents associated with each shipment are captured and filed for audit purposes.
  • Knowledge of SAP to process invoices and shipping documents and assist data maintenance.
  • Coordination of key communications with internal departments to ensure on time shipping of customer and other outbound orders.
  • Coordination of inbound orders, for clearing and arranging time delivery to site.
  • Support Transport Logistics with; Quotes, shipment documentation, schedules, customer complaint investigations.

Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Good working knowledge of SAP
  • Willing to undertake training to achieve ADR, IATA and IMDG authority.
