Here at Charity Horizons, we are delighted to be partnering with a National Education Charity whose primary aim is to advance the education of young people in mathematics.

They do this by working with hundreds of volunteers across the UK to organise maths competitions promoting problem solving and teamwork and other mathematical enrichment activities.

As a charity, they are just about to embark on an exciting new period of strategic growth and are looking for talented, committed, ambitious and innovative individuals to help them on their journey - could this be you?


We are delighted to be supporting the UKMT in their search for an Enrichment Officer to play a key role in enabling the charity to deliver it's exciting calendar of enrichment activities.


The Role
As Enrichment Officer you will play a pivotal role within the charity and duties will include:

  • Building strong relationships with the UKMT volunteer network, promoting and delivering a strong stakeholder culture.
  • Forecasting, monitoring and controlling activities against budgets and ensuring activities are accounted for in a transparent manner.
  • Running events with colleagues and volunteers including: Summer School, stands at conferences, team and senior team challenges.
  • Monitoring all activities with regards to publications and the UKMT Amazon shop front and account.

The Person


To be considered for this role you should have fantastic organisation and planning skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds.

You should possess good administration skills and be able to manage and coordinate internal processes.

Essential to this role will be your ability to confidently run and attend meetings and events so you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for, and interest in, the work of this fantastic charity.

The role is largely home-based but will involve some work from the charity's offices in Thorpe Park.
