About the Role

Hours:
Monday - Friday on a rota basis; week 1- 7:00am - 16:00pm week - 8:00am - 17:00pM/Flexible to work weekends where required

Main Duties:

Effectively and efficiently plan and manage all driver's daily work
To effectively communicate to customers depots, third parties and colleagues in a professional manner
To build a good rapport with the drivers
To assist the transport team in briefing all drivers in the morning and debriefing drivers on their return, to ensure effective communication on expectations and requirements going forward
To assist in finding additional work and finding loads to minimise empty running
Continually monitor all collections and deliveries
Assist the Transport Supervisor and Transport Manager where required

Monks Contractors is a growing family run business who specialise in waste and recycling - we provide haulage and waste specification plant hire to the waste industry, Monks Contractors offers it all from processing the waste, shredding it, loading it and transporting it.

We also have a high pressure water drain jetting team, civil contracting team, plant repair, hire and sales.
