The job itself:


The Governors of Skirlaugh CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and highly skilled Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team.

This is a term time, part time role and the hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am pm


The successful applicant will play a key role in undertaking reception duties as well as supporting the Lead Administration Assistant and teaching and support staff in a range of general administrative tasks.


  • Experience as an administrator
  • A positive, 'cando' attitude, a sense of humour and be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Computer literacy skills and experience of working with new IT packages
  • Good communication skills, projecting a positive image of the school to staff, parents and visitors.
  • A friendly, calm and patient attitude.
