The Role
Are you a skilled administrator ready for a new challenge? Do you has some experience in transport management and want to join a friendly, fast paced team?

At Jewson we are looking for a Transport Allocator to work in our Sittingbourne team to continue to deliver our high level of customer service by planning and distributing the delivery our sales orders.

This
Transport Allocatorrole will be a part of the transport team which consists of two other Transport Allocator working closely with the Transport Manager and our branch network.

The ours of work for this role are Monday to Friday andalternative Saturday morning which can be worked from home.

What we're looking for:

For this role we want someone who is excellent communicator and remains calm under pressure. You will be the key person in ensuring we meet our delivery expectations.

Essential

Must be IT literate
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Problem solving and decision making
Strong regional geographic knowledge
Proactive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude

Desirable

Previous experience within a logistics/ transport role would be beneficial
