The OCS Lead design role will be instrumental and influential in shaping how we communicate visually through graphics, infographics, animation, video and digital.

We're seeking someone who inspires those around them and can influence them at the highest level with concise information and sound rationale.

Expertise and positive energy are vital to this role, as you'll be the heartbeat of our creative output, shaping how we look and helping us to capture the hearts and minds of our internal and external audiences through exceptional design.

A multi-disciplined approach is required, and your understanding of digital communications, trends, and future expectations will be profound. You'll be a creative enthusiast in every sense.

You will work alongside the Marketing Communications (MarComms) function to push the boundaries of what we do and to set us apart, creating point-of-difference from our competitors.


We seek exceptional creativity, but we're after a hybrid operator with an equal passion for detail and who exhausts the project to completion and outcome.

You will be just as comfortable crafting a 24-page document as working on a conceptual sub-brand to launch into our new sector.


Core Responsibilities & Skills

  • An early task will be to review our brand guidelines to ensure they're fit for purpose and have the scope and flexibility for us to deliver industryleading multichannel communications. Once aligned, you will be the primary custodian of the brand and the 'business' will take the lead from you.
  • Lead, develop, and refine the visual designs across various platforms, including web, app, and interface, whilst managing the output of your content creation team. You will also provide guidance and leadership in design for the wider
- business, collaborating with any function requiring brand communications.

  • Mentor and manage a dynamic design team, ensuring project timelines are met and quality is maintained.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for design, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Craft compelling presentations using PowerPoint that captivates audiences and create templates that colleagues can use that are easy to implement and maintain to a high standard.
  • Ensure a high standard of output from your team and help to maintain consistency throughout the organisation never holding back to maintain standards and strive for a higher benchmark in design.
  • WordPress elements and create WordPress pages required by our marketing teams.
  • Your role will mean that you're up to date with the latest trends and what's coming next. You're already considering the benefits of AI and will guide us on how best to implement new design strategies, approaches and styles always aligning back to our business goals and objectives.

Qualifications, Experience & Reference

  • Proven experience in commercial, corporate, and B2B communications design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with expertlevel capability.
  • Adept at creating engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams.
  • Strong and captivating portfolio showcasing your best works, complemented by case studies that underline your designs' success metrics and outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to liaise efficiently with internal and external stakeholders
