What you will be doing...

Procurement Buyer, based at Holiday House in Leeds City Centre.

Procurement Buyer will work as a key part of the Procurement Team as well as
- _Working as One Team_ in collaboration with colleagues across

Jet2holidays, helping to shape sub-category strategy and lead/support the associated tender and negotiation processes for the business.
What will you do in the role?
As our
-
Procurement Buyer, you will lead on the development of designated category strategies to help promote the commercial position of
-
Jet2holidays to relevant suppliers, building strong working relationships and leveraging those relationships to drive improved service and cost reduction for the business


You will also:

  • Own and deliver annual savings targets for specific categories as agreed with the Senior Procurement Manager, whilst acting as a role model for nonprocurement colleagues
  • Support the delivery of a seamless endtoend procurement service

What are the key skills/experience you'll already have?
You will have an in-depth knowledge of Procurement & experience in direct/in-direct buying across categories, with the ability to demonstrate experience in using innovative approaches to procuring services and managing relationships with suppliers


You will also:

  • Be an excellent communicator, & have proven experience of being able to build longstanding relationships with internal/external stakeholders/suppliers
  • Be a highly effective negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Holding an MCIPS qualification would be beneficial but not essential
