Sporting Teaching Assistant

SEN School catering for students aged 4-16 years with a range of SEN needs.

Clear enhanced DBS required

Needs to be able to keep track of multiple SEN children and perform activities with them during recess/break time.

Location:
Chelmsford

Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary:
£80 - £100 per day, depending on experience

Duties:
Working as a teaching assistant supporting a variety of disabilities

Duties:

Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
Entertain the children during break time and ensure that they don't hurt themselves.
Contribute to recordkeeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff
Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations
Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources
Support students with SEN and additional needs

Salary:
£80.00-£100.00 per day
