Senior Data Analyst. Circa £60k - £65k (dependant upon experience) + Benefits Package. 12 Month Fixed Term Position - potential to transition to a permanent role. Fully Remote or Hybrid role. London. T6/MN/18387.

Exciting opportunity to join a Global FMCG organisation. They are seeking to secure a Senior Data Analyst to be part of the European Data & Analytics team. The organisation has an array of exciting projects inflight and in the pipeline utilising innovativetechnologies.

This is a unique opportunity - the role would suite someone who has a real passion & interest in Data Analysis and Data & Analytics - there is also the opportunity to develop your career within Data Analysis, or transition to a Data Science or Data Engineeringspecialism.


Role:


  • Join a worldclass European Data & Analytics team support with shaping the D&A blueprint.
  • Utilise Microsoft Data Modelling & Visualisation implement highperformant data analytics solutions that use data to solve complex business issues and create value.
  • Driving digital transformation enabling a digital first culture.
  • Deliver advanced products at scale & work closely with global & local teams.
  • Through D&A support the organization to drive incremental sales & profit enable the company to meet the needs of their consumers, customers & employees.
  • Help create & deliver insights to business teams leverage analytical techniques & reporting capabilities to create value for the company.
  • Delivery of insights from various data sources such as
  • Financial & Marketing Systems, Neilsen, Kantar, Epos etc.
  • Understand business & technical requirements document, develop & implement analytics solutions.
  • Work alongside a dynamic team of
  • Senior Data Analysts, Data Scientists & Data Engineers.
  • Work with the Data Engineering team ingest large amounts of data required for analysis.
  • Perform exploratory analysis & document findings.
  • Create Insight reporting & data led recommendations to the business.
  • Ingest, Clean, Transform & Model Data following best practice and tools including Power BI, M/Power Query, DAX & SQL.
  • Coding, testing, debugging & validation of deployed solutions.
  • Creation and visualisation of Power BI reports dashboard/apps & ongoing maintenance.
  • Leverage different statistical techniques to create insights.
  • Handson delivery of solutions throughout the entire life cycle daytoday management of ongoing engagements.
  • Utilise Data Operations an Agile, Lean & DevOps approach.
  • Exceed functional, technical & performance requirements.
  • Continuous learning of new tools & programming languages utilising external sources bringing direct value to the business.
  • Sharing best practice across the global D&A teams.
  • Coaching & mentoring junior Data Analysts.
  • Attend onsite meetings when required this is limited.

Technical Skills & Experience Required:


  • Expert knowledge of the whole analytics process business requirements, data ingestion, data modelling & data visualisation
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • DAX Language
  • SQL write joins & aggregates, Windows functions / ideally have SQL Management Studio experience.
  • Data Visualisation
  • Connecting to Microsoft Azure & publishing to Power BI service develop scaled analytic models in the Cloud.
  • Data Transformation & Cleaning.
  • Analytical Modelling & Patterns.
  • Strong analytical & problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to connect and match analytics & data products to the business needs.
  • Manage multiple requests & priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion for empirical research & answering hard questions with data.
  • An agile analytic approach.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative insights in a precise & actionable manner.
  • Growth mindset be action orientated.
  • Challenge the norm in a constructive way & drive change.
  • Manage a large & complex set of stakeholders hold others accountable.
  • Make the complex & technical simple to a nontechnical audience/stakeholders.
  • Experience of working effectively in cross functional & cross geographical teams.
