We are looking for a Social Media Monitoring and Support Officer to provide support for the University social media channels through monitoring, issue triage and audience engagement.

This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week).

We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.


The Opportunity:


Join the University's Digital Marketing team, where you'll help support our social media channels through user engagement, query monitoring, social listening, and reporting.

Your duties will include handling audience queries, reporting on social activity, supporting content creation, preparing responses for upcoming scenarios, identifying reputation risks, and promoting community engagement.

Step into this challenging role to play a crucial part in supporting our global audience and enhancing the University's digital presence.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Previous experience in social media monitoring or a related role.
  • Proficiency in using social media monitoring tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media data.
  • Able to produce reports and actionable insights for colleagues.
