The Practice:

GVC are providing recruitment support to a well-established Independent practice based in East London who are looking for a Senior Receptionist to join their friendly team.

As Head Receptionist, you will be one of the first points of contact for clients and the public both on the telephone and in person.

You will be required to demonstrate a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote and represent the practice. You will be positive, hardworking, self-motivated, with strong leadership skills with a willingness to support all staff.

You will enjoy a challenge as no day is the same and be able deal with the requirements of the role with a friendly and proactive approach.

Responsibilities:

To always ensure the smooth and effective running of the reception
Be friendly and personable greeting and welcoming clients to the practice
Help facilitate the smooth running of the reception including supporting colleagues
Ensure the reception is a calm, clean and tidy space for clients to arrive into
Assist with patient queries both facetoface and over the telephone
Use the CRM system to book appointments and record payments
Use the CRM system to admit or discharge and order medicines
Take cash and card payments, providing receipts to clients
Laise with referring practices and rescue teams
