An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to join an established M&E Contractor who work across the Social Housing, Public and Private Sectors providing a range of specialist services.

Due to expansion and recently being awarded a number of new contracts, they are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to oversee all Commercial activities within the business.


Duties and responsibilities will include:
Finance

  • Manage cash flow reporting
  • Provide financial guidance
  • Recover income and control expenditure
  • Manage cost and value reporting
  • Manage profit forecasting
  • Produce Best Value reports
  • Manage contract procurement
  • Control external consultants
Contractual

  • Provide recommendations and guidance on main contract and subcontract issue
  • Dissect contract terms and conditions to minimise risk
Tenders & Negotiations

  • Provide commercial advise at tender preparation
  • Set and agree commercial strategy
  • Provide, advise, support and guidance to the win work team
  • Manage and maintain strong client relationships and understanding client's needs
  • Develop excellent working relationships with all external parties

Experience required:

  • Building teams, developing people's capabilities to produce results beyond expectations
  • Leading a commercial function within a business through a period of rapid growth
  • Production of accurate information for Contribution Forecasts, Monthly Cost/Value reports and on site progress
  • Preparation of accurate contract valuations
  • Overseeing of the production of competitive tenders, including all risk management
  • Reviewing and managing efficiencies
  • Experience in the M&E/Social Housing sector is ideal


You will come from a strong academic background and be confident and resilient and have the ability to motivate a busy commercial team.
