KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the Revenue element of the P&L and Balance sheet for over 200 Contracts with Turnover of circa £100m
Ownership of the Monthend process, ensure accurate close of the books, with clear explanations of variances v forecast
Monthly reporting by client, product and territory, including variance analysis
Lead the monthly Revenue forecasting process, including meetings with territory leads to review and update revenue flow for each contract, adding new business sales as required.
Forecast Analysis v Budget and Prior Forecast
Ensure Revenue is recognized per Dedalus Accounting policy, challenging and reviewing with Accounting to maximize in year revenue.
Projects reporting and forecasts using POC calculations
Reporting by key contracts and products
Sales support on contract structuring to ensure revenue recognition is maximized
Support the migration to the new One ERP, D36
Annual Budget Planning
Indexation on contracts calculations
Gov Reporting
HRMC revenue updates
Modelling and adhoc tasks as required.

MUST HAVE COMPETENCIES

Accounting Certifications Required: ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
Extensive experience working in Finance / Accounting / Business Support role.
Understanding of financial and operational metrics.
Month End/Quarter End Accounting Close experience.
Strong Financial Modelling Skills.
Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to advance the position.
Exercises good judgment, and comfortable working at a detailed level under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents.
Strong system skills including MS Office and SAP
Financial and business support experience.
