Your purpose

To plan, manage and control the supply, delivery and triage of both physical items and logistics services controlled by the Global Logistics team.

Examples of items shipped include but are not limited to store unitary, spectacles, contact lenses or optical equipment. Services will include the triage of business to business and business to customer delivery.

Your role

Lead the team management and flow of items within area of responsibility
Motivate the team to ensure that the process from customer to delivery, identifying issues and resolving delivery issues is completed in a timely fashion
Working professionally with both internal and external stakeholders to provide seamless delivery of goods and products
Manage the agenda of product quantity and quality checks, audit counts and count audit approvals in a timely manner to avoid short, shipped lines
Ensure that the function and all those working within it adhere to standard operating procedures challenging with productivity driven agendas when highlighted

What you'll bring

Experience in leading a team
Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
Analytical with excellent organisational skills
Excellent ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Advanced skills in excel, including vlookups and pivot tables

This role is hybrid with our Whiteley office. Travel will be required within this role across the UK and European travel throughout the year.
