Description

We are currently recruiting for a Trainer/Assessor to produce and deliver training material relevant to the Highways Maintenance sector such as Streetworks (NRSWA), Traffic Management (NHSS 12D/LANTRA) and Winter Maintenance (City and Guilds).

Location:
This is an agile role where you will be based out of our Picketts Lock, Blackwall or Wraysbury site with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites


Contract & hours:
Permanent, Fulltime


Salary:
£35k - £45k + Company Car + 26 days holiday plus bank holiday + benefits


Key Responsibilities


As a trainer/assessor you'll to train and assess the workforce throughout the contract in various other disciplines including manual handling, vehicle marshal, CAT & Genny, small tools and Health and Safety Training.


Your day will include:

  • Ensuring all training courses and content are produced and regularly updated in accordance with current legislation and the requirements of various awarding bodies.
  • Delivering training and assessment in line with the awarding organizations policies and procedures.
  • Actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to trainees and other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Management System.

What do we need from you?
This role Trainer/Assessor is great for you if you can:

  • Have experience of a Highway Maintenance operational background
  • Have LANTRA 12D LTMO or Operative to M2 level minimum, Streetworks Operative or Supervisor and City & Guilds Winter Service Operator Card
  • Plant Instructor or Operative Qualifications (CPCS/NPORS/ALLMI/RTITB)
