We are currently recruiting for a passionate and creative Sous Chef to join this historic site based in The City of London.

Catering for day-to-day core feeding as well as events and banqueting, the kitchen can produce anything from small intimate dinners to high volume functions/events with the food standards high across the board.

As the Sous Chef, you will be a key member of the team and support the running of the kitchen.

You will be involved in the creation of the menus as well as ensuring all food is produced at the highest standard.

You will be organised with attention to detailas well as have strong management skills with the ability to liaise and communicate with others.

Working hours are 5/7, 40 hours per week.

There are evenings and weekends involved however the site does quieten down over the summer months so there is limited functions and catering during this time.


  • Be at Sous Chef level with a proven career history
  • Be able to lead and manage a kitchen in the Head Chef's absence ensuring a smooth operation
  • Have a stable work background in a high quality fresh food kitchen
  • Be able to use fresh seasonal ingredients and produce
  • Have an eye for detail and presentation
  • Be genuinely passionate about food and service
  • Be able to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Have a positive, can do attitude with a flexible and friendly manner
