We are seeking to recruit a Business Support Assistant to join our busy Operational Support Team dealing with a range of administration responsibilities.
The role will be office based and will include:
- Processing internal and external post
- Scanning & indexing correspondence and invoices onto an electronic document management system,
- Monitoring the council's utility bills and liaising with utility companies to resolve queries, dealing with noncompliant invoices prior to payment, and entering information onto the council's database.
The successful applicant will be confident, well organised and proactive and have experience in an administrative background with excellent organisational skills.
The ability to work flexibly as part of a team, and to work accurately under pressure to meet strict deadlines, in a performance driven environment is essential.
