The Vacancy


Depaul UK is recruiting for an enthusiastic and youth-focused
Family Support and Mediation Worker to join a team of professionals, working to strengthen family relationships to overcome conflicts and prevent young people from having to leave their homes.

You will hold a caseload of clients experiencing family difficulties and at risk of homelessness.


You will provide support and guidance to your clients and their families, improving understanding and communication, reducing conflict and strengthening relationships.

On appointment this role will be known internally as
Reconnect Worker.

About you:

You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.

  • Significant experience working with young people and families in crisis
  • Experience of working independently and managing own caseload; selfmotivated, organised and able to prioritize tasks and carry out efficient administration
  • Ability to develop strong, collaborative and productive relationships
