We currently seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to assist in the delivery of a highly professional service focusing on actively managing asbestos across the property portfolio.


This is an important role in which you will:

  • Carry out asbestos Management and refurbishment asbestos surveys primarily of domestic properties however you will be required to complete commercial asbestos surveys such as offices and communal blocks
  • Assisting in the development of the quality assurance process by validating asbestos information
  • Assisting in the development of the asbestos register
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Providing technical support on the management of asbestos data
  • Contributing to the delivery of the operational plan and the development of an outstanding service
  • Acting as a champion for change, innovation, continuous improvement, value for money and risk management

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a minimum of P402, ideally P405 or equivalent
  • Hold a level 4 qualification in construction or equivalent (desirable)
  • Have experience of asbestos surveying
  • Have in depth knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to property maintenance and construction projects specifically related to asbestos management
  • Demonstrate a commitment to H&S to ensure safe operations and environment for staff and customers
  • Have the ability to travel to various locations using own transport with business insurance
