In this role you will be responsible for the development and running of Mitie's National BMS Service Operations, including three Regional Managers, thirty BMS engineers and the small works team.

Along with the people management and coaching, you will have P&L ownership for this part of the business and be responsible for managing and setting forecasts and budgets.

As Head of Service Operations, you will be part of the BMS Controls senior leadership team that determines the strategy of the wider BMS Service and Projects Operations.

The responsibilities include people management, P&L ownership, setting budgets and forecasts, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business.

The role also involves ensuring operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and partners.

Additionally, the role includes identifying growth opportunities, winning new contracts, and managing the financial performance of the service operations business.

Recruitment and resource allocation are also important aspects of the role.
