Are you a skilled and experienced Scrub Practitioner looking for temporary work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment? Spire Healthcare Ltd is currently seeking a General ODP (Operating Department Practitioner) to join our team at Spire Portsmouth Hospital.

As a Scrub Practitioner, your main role will be to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

You will be responsible for preparing the operating room, assisting the surgical team during procedures, and ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use.

In addition to your technical skills, you must also have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

You will be working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

This is a temporary position with a start date of 27/02/2024 and an end date of 27/02/2024. The shift will start at 07:30:00 and end at 18:00:00, with a payment rate of £343.35 per shift.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree or qualification in Operating Department Practice
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Previous experience working as a Scrub Practitioner in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
