Production Operative - Melton, North Ferriby.
Temporary (on-going contract).

Weekly pay.
- £11 per hour days.
- £13 per hour nights.
- £13 per hour weekends.
- £16.50 per hour overtime.
- £22 per hour Sunday's/Bank Holiday's.

Our client is a leading global producer of industrial minerals - mainly fillers and pigments derived from calcium carbonate and dolomite - and a worldwide distributor of speciality chemicals.

The company's major markets are forest products (fibre-based products such as paper, board, and tissue) polymers, building materials (paints, coatings, sealants, adhesives, and construction) as well as life sciences (food, feed, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, environment, and agriculture).

Our client is now currently looking to recruit a
Production Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global company with development opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

To work as part of a team to meet the requirements of the Daily Production and Maintenance Plans issued by the Production Manager, Deputy Production Manager and Works Engineer and to report all activities undertaken using the appropriate systems, as instructed.
Packing and loading produce.
General production line work.
General housekeeping duties.
To operate sackfilling and FIBCfilling plant and equipment, oversee the operation of autopalletisation equipment, and put away products to store to the required standards of health and safety, productivity, quality (to BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008 procedures), accuracy, cost and timeliness.
To support, as directed, the shift team in lab control / maintenance / cleaning / housekeeping and other duties to ensure continuity of customer service during busy periods and periods of sickness and holiday absence.
To ensure that all work is carried out to comply with all current health and safety, and environmental legislation, and the objectives of the plant Health and Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, FEMAS and Quality Systems.
