Project Support Officer - London, United Kingdom - Mayor's Fund for London
Description
Job description
The Mayor's Fund for London is looking for a Project Support Officer to help deliver the Access Aspiration programme and support the wider Employability and Skills team across a variety of activities and events.
The post will be an integral part of the team, supporting the project managers to engage a range of stakeholders and deliver meaningful employer encounters for students from our network of schools.
The Project Support Officer will be required to work flexibly - in the office, from home and at events in schools and businesses across London, with occasional early starts.
In return we offer a role in a growing, enthusiastic, fast-moving team and the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young Londoners.
We will provide an induction into the role and the organisation and offer tailored training and development opportunities throughout the year including safeguarding and Equity Diversity and Inclusion.
This a fantastic an opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and experience in the third sector with a particular focus on project administration and youth participation.
In partnership with London's business community, we aim to create more visibility of employment pathways and provide aspirational work placements, business insight sessions and meaningful employer encounters, such as mock interview workshops, in schools.
