EHS Advisor - Sweden or Denmark
We are currently seeking an EHS Advisor to join our team for an exciting project based in Sweden.
As a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor, we are involved in a variety of projects across sectors including Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre, and Petrochemical industries.
Reporting to the Site EHS Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development of safety documents.
- Conducting regular formal site audits.
- Carrying out inspections as directed in the Safety Management system.
- Communicating audit findings to site management and assisting in issue closure.
- Delivering health and safety inductions for all employees or contractors.
- Advising on personal protection equipment for employees.
- Ensuring subcontractor safety documents comply with best practices and legislation.
- Assisting in drafting and communicating method statements for highrisk activities.
- Supporting the site management in maintaining records of statutory inspections.
- Assisting in incident/accident investigation reporting.
- Representing the company at site meetings as needed.
- Managing the Toolbox Schedule for the project.
- Compiling and communicating site emergency plans.
- Advising on first aid and fire marshal requirements.
- Providing advice on training requirements for each project.
- Ensuring training requirements are met by subcontractors.
- Assisting in the preparation of safety files for project handover.
- Furnishing safety reports to head office.
- Ensuring compliance and promoting good work practices related to health, safety, and welfare management systems.
- Providing monthly KPI statistics for projects.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A relevant EHS qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Ideally have EU Citizenship

From £60,000.00 per year
