Job Description:
The Finance Systems Administrator role is responsible for Master Data, SharePoint administration, financial reporting preparation - e.g. Financial KPI's - and Travel and Expenses management among other duties.
Also, getting involved in projects and data migration. For example, we are currently changing our payroll system, this will require data migration and excellent knowledge of Excel.
Actively engaging with our lean journey is required by building and acting on continuous improvement and development opportunities and looking for best practice.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and track KPI's for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Travel and Expenses (Concur), Master Data and Payroll.
- Maximize the effectiveness of the interface between Concur, WorkDay and the ERP system.
- Support the creation of supplier and customer accounts in the ERP, with controls currently in place.
- Working towards process improvement, standardization and building documentation for system operation processes.
- Working with SharePoint libraries and workflows.
- Partner with the operations, sales, and engineering teams and ensuring finance is supporting the needs of the business.
- Project Management qualification is desirable.
- Advanced Excel is required.
- SAP Concur knowledge is required.
- Finance qualification is preferred.
- IT qualifications is preferred.
- SharePoint qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of Ceridian/ Dayforce is desirable.
- 35 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a shared services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and implement processes and perform in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, customerservice and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and make decisions.
- Telephone skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization in a professional manner.
- Excellent IT literacy, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and good knowledge of MS Office including Teams and Outlook.
- Knowledge of AS 400, JD Edwards, Power Link XA, Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential.
Physical Demands:
- Desk based, typically sitting and grasping items.
- Performing at the keyboard for regular operation of a computer.
- Ability to learn and take on new processes.
- Ability to initiate and work independently.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Communicates effectively within a complex business environment.
- Problem solving skills, action oriented.
- Full driving license is required.
- Occasional exposure to typical machine factory physical hazards.
- Occasional domestic and international travel by air and/or car.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly.
