Description

We are looking for an experienced and Qualified Mechanical Technician & MOT Tester to join a friendly, family run business based in Plymouth.

Our client offers advanced diagnostic technology to work with and has built up their business so that they haveregular customers so you will always be busy and motivated.


Working on high performance vehicles, this is a great opportunity to learn and grow your experience within a variation of work.

The established Company offers Servicing and repairs, MOTs and Commercial work.


Main Duties:


  • Fitting brakes, exhausts and other mechanical products.
  • Carry out MOT testing and corrective works.
  • Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations.
  • Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle and this is carried out safely and to a high standard.
  • Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.
  • To work in a fast paced environment whilst ensuring quality work at all times.
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications/Licences:


  • Must have a Level 3 in Mechanics.
  • Must have a valid MOT Licence.
  • A full clean driving licence and a Class 11 licence would be a benefit.


Working hours are Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday mornings if required (Paid at an enhanced rate) Newly qualified Mechanics with MOT Licence will be considered.
