Are you looking to start a career in Childcare? We have a fantastic opportunity working at a day care nursery as an Early Years apprentice at our client's nursery in Barnet This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Childcare with a keen interest in Early Years.

This is an apprenticeship role with great progression opportunities where you will train on the job to become a skilled Practitioner whilst gaining valuable experience in the Childcare sector.

Apprenticeship:
Early Years Practitioner level 2

Working hours: 8am-2pm Monday to Friday (30 hours per week)

Start date:

ASAP

Pay:
£6 per hour

Package includes:
Complete a fully-funded qualification

Spend at least 6 of your contracted working hours studying towards your apprenticeship

About the company:
Operating since 2013, our client's nursery provides quality early childhood education. Their primary focus is the wellbeing of every child.

They provide their children the attention they need to grow and develop into happy, healthy people and be confident for school.

The staff closely monitor children's progress and successfully address any weaker areas identified. Parents feel positive about the nursery and are happy with the progress their children make.

About the role:

Create and maintain a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for children
Plan and implement ageappropriate activities and experiences for children, including outdoor play, arts and crafts, and story time
Observe and assess children's development and progress, and record observations using appropriate documentation
Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure the best possible care and support for their child

Requirements:

Strong interest in a career in childcare
Highly motivated
Enthusiastic in nature

Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:

To not already hold a childcare at level 2 or above
To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths
To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
