Seeking online British English Instructors for
Britmates, a Korean platform which connects freelance English tutors from around the globe with students in South Korea.

Based in Seoul, we offer classes designed to make the virtual learning experience easy and effective for both students and tutors.

Join our online team for the chance to choose your own hours and connect with Koreans of all ages

• Teaching a wide range of students (primary students to adults) through Zoom at scheduled hours (all classes are conducted online)
• Completing daily and monthly reports to track progress for students.

Requirements:

• An English Speaker (British nationals, or those with a neutral RP accent HIGHLY preferred).
• Techsavvy and can manage technical issues that arise with remote teaching.
• Equipped with digital devices for remote work e.g., PC/Mac, laptops, webcam, headphones, microphones, etc.

Compensation:

• We offer 14 USD per hour with a raise to 16 USD following a 3month interim period
• Opportunity for fulltime positions following an interim period and performance assessment.

Working Hours
We are looking for teachers who can work within one of 3 positions.

First Position

• Weekdays AND Weekends (6 to 7 days)

Second Position

• Weekdays only (must choose at least 2 blocks)
