CMA Recruitment Group are partnering exclusively with a highly successful services business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

This requirement is for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to undertake a newly created position which has resulted asa period of continued growth and expansion.


What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main responsibility of the Finance Business Partner position will include:

  • Production of annual budgets and forecasts;
  • Preparation of weekly KPI's including reporting and explaining any variances;
  • Liaising with key nonfinance stakeholders to prepare annual business plans;
  • Financial management of any additional investment and CAPEX proposals;
  • Ongoing management of costs including driving through efficiencies where feasible and undertaking any ad hoc project work as and when required particularly concerning improvements to existing processes.
  • Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with a proven track record of working successfully in a similar position;
  • Exceptional commercial, strategic and communication skills will be essential to undertake this role successfully as will the ability to negotiate successfully with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of working within a medium/large business would be beneficial.

Experience of the financial management of specific project cycles and revenue management would also be beneficial although knowledge in this area can be developed in therole.
