Job title:

Facilities Management BIM Lead**

Salary:
£52,084 + (Commensurate with skills and experience)


What you'll be doing:


  • Responsible for BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement
  • Lead and manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital estate BIM models and associated digital design technologies across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise in BIMrelated matters.
  • Oversee the coordination, integration, and clash detection of various building systems within the BIM environment and provide associated detailed quality reports to external parties.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams to promote the adoption and effective use of BIM technologies.
  • Delivery of accurate and clear point clouds in various outputs from Faro Scene software, including Autodesk Recap outputs.
  • Common Data Environment configuration and management thereafter.

Your skills and experiences:


Essential:


  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or associated field.
  • Extensive experience in BIM standards, COBie, model coordination and management within the built environment.
  • Extensive experience in using industryleading BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo and Lumion.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and a passion for innovation in the digital AEC field.
  • Experience working in and administering a Common Data Environment such as Asite, 4Projects, BCDE or similar.

Desirable:


  • Individual BIM certification (ISO19650 or BS1192) with recognised body e.g. RICS, ICE, BSi, BRE, etc. an advantage

The Computer Aided Facilities Management team:

An exciting and rewarding opportunity is now on offer as a Facilities Management BIM Lead within the Computer Aided Facilities Management Team.


As a Facilities Management BIM Lead, you will build your skills and knowledge within specialist areas, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D design.

You will be working with a team of 12 members, this will be increasing by a further 2 soon. The team is responsible for looking after the digital records of the facilities and estates for the Company.
