About the role:


As an EBS/HRMS functional consultant, you will have overall responsibility for the support, operational management and improvement of the Oracle core HR, OLM, Payroll, HRSS, Compensation & Benefits and Absence Management modules.

As Technical Lead you will oversee and develop the team of HR functional developers supported by technical analyst/programmers in delivering new innovative features and technology, migrating our Oracle EBS on-prem Platform to a cloud environment, establishing new practices and maintaining the stability and legal/statutory compliance of the systems will be a core part of the role as you further develop the HR management software capabilities of UCL for the future.


Additionally, you'll be working in a matrixed Agile environment with a wider team of Architects, Business Analysts, other Product teams, the ERP Platform team and business stake holders.

About you:


As a Senior EBS/ HRMS Functional Consultant, you have experience in establishing and developing an HR Applications Product team aligned to the delivery of world class services and you've delivered exceptional results by working with a wide range of stakeholders, leading teams for sustainable success.


You have in-depth industry knowledge and experience of implementing and supporting HR Management Systems (Oracle EBS preferred), both on-premise and ideally Cloud, in a large scale and complex organisation.

Whilst the primary purpose of the role is non-technical, you should still be able to quickly understand technical concepts and translate between the business and technical staff.


It is essential that you have good interpersonal skills and are able to persuade and influence stakeholders, delivery managers and senior portfolio management and have the commitment to ensure initiatives are realised.

You will be skilful at enabling team collaboration as well as organising and motivating teams. Additionally you're knowledgeable across both delivery and service and are able to manage conflicting priorities.
