Marketing Executive - Innova Recruitment

  • Job Title: Marketing Executive
  • Location: Manchester City Centre (flexible working available)
  • Salary: £24,000 per annum (based on experience)
  • Hours: 38.5 a week
  • Reports into: Co-Founder

As a business that works within the tech industry, we're looking for someone to join our team to bring the brand to life both on and offline by executing innovative marketing activities


Working closely with an external marketing agency and mentor, you will be supported in your growth as a marketing professional through weekly mentoring and training sessions.


Putting your experience and learnings into practice, you will work on a day-to-day basis directly with Innova's Co-Founders to understand more about the tech industry and how the business can position itself as the thought leader of recruitment.

As an individual, you'd describe yourself as highly organised, motivated and responsible. Passionate about marketing and content, you're a confident communicator and team worker, with strong attention to detail.


You've got a strong work ethic, with a range of transferable skills and enjoy a varied, challenging role where you can take on new challenges, come up with new ideas and most importantly, turn those ideas into reality.


About Us:


Innova Recruitment are a tech specialist recruitment agency that work with some of the most exciting technology organisations across Manchester and the UK.

We stand for honesty and transparency and we're trying to add a human element to recruitment.

Now, we're looking for a new Marketing Executive to join our team and support our continued focus on brand


We have an ethos of "no egos" and are passionate about ensuring our team members develop and progress alongside the business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Managing our core social media channels and executing our strategy (developed with Marketing Mentor and Co-Founders)
  • Creating and managing a content calendar that allows for greater consistency and delivers on short
- and medium-term objectives (e.g. release of a report or podcast)

  • Creating a range of designed assets using brand guidelines for use in internal and external comms (e.g eyecatching infographics, interviews with founders, surveys, case studies)
  • Regularly updating our website with the new content produced
  • Reporting on marketing activity results utilising tools such as Google Analytics

Role Requirements:


  • Passionate about social media and marketing
  • Ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team
  • Have great written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite
  • Attention to detail
  • Deadline orientated
  • Ideally, oneyear experience as a marketing assistant or executive client side and agency both considered (not essential)
