    About the Role

    An exciting opportunity has come up to work at the cutting edge of creative industries with household brands, as Associate Legal Counsel in the UK.

    Reporting directly to the Global General Counsel/DPO, this role will involve working closely with senior management and developing knowledge and skills in a fast-paced and collaborative working environment.

    We are looking for a talented individual who can shape their career at Talon, with exposure to areas such as commercial contracts, data protection, ESG, and M&As.

    A Day in the Life

    • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including agency contracts, SaaS agreements and sales agreements.
    • Work closely with the wider legal team to provide advice and counsel on industry initiatives.
    • Serve as a contact point for the UK Commercial Team.
    • Advise on legal and regulatory developments in the UK.
    • Work with the General Counsel/DPO on corporate governance and senior management.
    • Provide comprehensive legal advice and training to internal stakeholders.
    • Champion sustainability and advocate for positive social and environmental impact within the team.

    What We're Looking For

    • NQ to 5+ years PQE UK qualified solicitor or equivalent experience.
    • Experience in-house/private practice, preferably with experience in data-driven industries, consumer goods, technology and/or advertising.
    • Strong research and analytical skills, with experience drafting and advising on commercial contracts.
    • Knowledge of advertising and marketing law, and/or intellectual property law desirable.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
    • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively across functions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
