Main responsibilities will include;

To assist the Head of Corporate Lending to maintain and develop a portfolio of customers which is of good quality and produces the required level of profitability
Introduce new corporate customers to the bank and complete new credit facilities
Carry out risk assessments of propositions submitted by your customers/potential customers
Ensure all your corporate lending credit proposals are prepared accurately and with the appropriate attachments and presented to Credit Committee
Carry out risk assessment of your corporate lending propositions submitted by customers/potential customers
Manage the daytoday customer relationship and risk assessment of each of your customers and to establish/maintain and develop your customer portfolio of corporate lending related facilities which is of good quality and produces the required level of profitability
Ensure that the provision of Corporate Lending services and monitoring procedures are carried out to a high standard, are in accordance with the Bank's rules and best practice, and that any legal and regulatory requirements are observed
Ensure that documentation and securitytaking standards and procedures in respect of your Corporate portfolio properly protect the Branch/Bank
Market the Corporate Lending services of the bank to new and potential customers and attend professional events and networking.
Negotiate with Corporate Lending customers/potential customers, particularly concerning interest rates, fees and terms and conditions upon which credit may be extended
To ensure all your Corporate Lending (new, amendments and extensions) are prepared and presented to Credit Committee, in an accurate and timely fashion with the appropriate attachments. In the case of extensions, the proposal should be presented to therelevant committee prior to the expiry of the facility
To visit customers for monitoring purposes and debenture checking (completing the debenture visit questionnaire) as required and to prepare a full visit file note
Monitor external ratings, watch list customers and any financial/nonfinancial covenants in respect of your portfolio
Monitor the collections of interest and fees in respect of your Corporate Lending portfolio
Monitor FX and risks of your Corporate Lending portfolio
