Description

This position will be based in our Toomebridge site, working within the Purchasing Department. Responsibility for purchasing and negotiating fabrication materials from one or more vendors in support of the site strategy.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Establish relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company's needs

- Must be able to develop excellent working relationships with both internal and external customers as well as suppliers

- Maintain supplier relationships to drive cost reductions while continually achieving the highest level of quality material

- Report supply issues and assist in finding a solution

• Managing a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards for goods and services and generating purchase orders
• Utilise stock management system to provide forecasted demand and order scheduling
• Negotiate and agree material prices with suppliers
• Develop effective strategic procurement solutions to support company growth
• Build strong working relationship with other internal departments
• Ensure strong business processes are in place to manage new supplier relationships
• Provide efficient and accurate administration support to the procurement function.
• Any administration duties to support the job role
