Tynehealth is the GP federation for North tyneside and are looking to recruit a General Practice Assistant to work in North Shields Primary care network.

The role comes with a competitive salary, NHS pension, attractive annual leave allowance and hours of work are hours per week.

The successful applicant will support the GPs smooth running of clinics by performing the more rountine administration and clincial tasks on behalf of the GP freeing up their time to focus on the patient.

You will have excellent communication and clinical skills which will ensure that we deliver the highest quality of care at all times.

Essential Criteria:

• GP Assistant Certificate Qualification (or be willing to complete the qualification)
• An enhanced current DBS
• Evidence of right to work in the UK

This role is permanent and an immediate start is available. You will be enrolled on NHS pension scheme and you will be supported by a Practice Manager/GP.
