This is a great opportunity to join our hard working, but friendly Development and House Building Team based in Reading.

Looking for a junior solicitor who can support fee earners on transactional matters

The role will involve working with existing team members and clients in respect of the acquisition and disposals of development land, plot sales, planning and construction matters as well as secured acquisition and development finance.

Responsibilitieswhat will you do?

Drafting option agreements, deeds and contracts
Undertaking due diligence and reporting
Assisting the team with a wide range of other activities associated with development transactions
Identifying concerns and risk and identifying practical and commercial solutions
Communicating with the team, clients and third parties in involved with transactions
Learning about the planning system and how this impacts development transactions
Participating in business development activities and getting to know our clients and others in the development community
