Description

Our client is a large scale manufacturing business based in Chesterfield which prides itself at being one the leaders in their industry.

Due to expansion, our client is now looking to recruit an electrically skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role will be 4 on 4 off (12 hours).

This is an established site where you will be joining a skilled team with a supportive management structure.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Working on improvement projects
  • Ensuring that all breakdowns are recorded in the SAP system
  • Carrying out Preventative Maintenance work
  • Dismantling, adjusting, modifying and improving factory equipment
  • Taking an active part in continuous improvements projects
To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • An engineering qualification/apprenticeship
  • Experience of working within maintenance within a factory environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Electrical knowledge
