An exciting opportunity has arisen for a team leader to work alongside the Access to Records team in Broomfield providing copy health records to patients, solicitors, police, coroners, courts and other stakeholders.


The post holder will ensure the team deal with access to records requests while adhering to national legislation and local policies, including managing requests in an efficient and appropriate manner and within set deadlines.

The job is varied and will suit someone who wants to get into or is already in a role with some team management.

You will be required to manage, organise and support the Access to Records Administrators to provide a good quality, timely service to both our internal and external aswell as balance your own duties such as:


  • To communicate and build key relationships with staff from a variety of disciplines, internally within the Trust and with external users of the service.
  • To ensure that relevant and accurate information is obtained for the requester, which may include information from the Patient Administration System, Accident and Emergency System, Manual Health Records and/or X-Rays.
  • Provide basic advice and guidance to clinical colleagues, patients and relatives on the correct processes to follow on access to records related issues.
