We are seeking a recent graduate to join our innovative accountancy practice as a trainee accountant.


Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, and other financial statements for a portfolio of clients.
• Liaising with clients to ensure timely submission of information and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting with bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns for clients.
• Supporting the senior accounting team with adhoc projects and tasks.
• Keeping uptodate with changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensuring clients are aware of any impacts on their business.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and providing exceptional client service.
• Contributing to the development of the practice through business development activities, including attending networking events, identifying new business opportunities, and preparing proposals.

Requirements:

• Degree educated.
• Be a confident communicator with an ability to develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders easily and naturally
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong IT skills.
