    Night Production Manager (Food)

    About the Role

    This is an on-site based permanent role working nights, Monday to Thursday from 6pm to 6am. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day and longer-term activities within the department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and motivate staff within the department or production line, providing training, appraisals, and coaching as needed.
    • Plan, structure, and organize work to set objectives, prioritize tasks, and monitor progress.
    • Ensure all H&S checks are carried out and maintain a safe working environment.
    • Achieve KPIs related to production efficiencies, people, quality, and profitability through continuous improvement.
    • Evaluate performance levels against targets daily and take necessary action on any variances.
    • Coordinate permanent and temporary labor during shifts.
    • Understand and implement allergen controls.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in a production supervisory or management capacity within a food manufacturing environment.
    • Commercial awareness and commitment to delivering quality customer service.
    • Degree in Food Safety (Level 3 or above) and Health & Safety (Level 2 or IOSH).
    • Strong understanding of HACCP and resilient leadership style.
